All classes worked incredibly hard to produce a very festive show full of songs, dance and some excellent acting. Chestnut, Hazel and Willow performed an outstanding rendition of the 'Jolly Christmas Postman'. They did a fantastic job, singing their songs and saying their lines with confidence and smiles on their faces! The pupils and staff all worked so hard and the performance reflected that, well done all. Hawthorn and Maple class performed their Nativity to all their friends and family. A special thank you must also go to Miss Lillywhite and Mrs Bennett for their vision from the start to bring about our Nursery and to help it run in such a successful way here at Bellefield.īellefield have been doing a fantastic job at getting into the Christmas spirit this year, the children can barely contain their excitement! The classes have been studying the Christmas story and the birth of Jesus and have enjoyed making Christingles and other Advent items. We would like to thank the whole team at Bellefield who have made the Nursery building a reality and I know it will be treasured for years to come. Many Staff and Governors joined us for the special day along with Gary from ‘CabinCo’ who created the construction. She was friendly and superb with the children and parents who kindly turned up for the afternoon and ensured we all had a memorable time learning catchy songs and fun games. The theme for the afternoon was 'Pirates' and we had the great pleasure of inviting Gemma Hunt from CBeebies who hosts the popular children's programme 'Swashbuckle' to cut the red ribbon and officially open the building. Our Nursery is an outstanding place for children's early learning where they can grow to be the best they can be in such a practical and stimulating environment. Our amazing new Nursery building was officially opened during February Half Term and what a fantastic event it was. We finished the week with a special 'sharing assembly' where the school came to together to share the new things they had learnt in the week. Tracy Hager who works with Wiltshire Libraries visited in our special ‘World Book Day Assembly’ and entertained the children whilst many received certificates for being the best dressed book characters.

Thanks must go to you the parents for making such a big effort with the costumes and you can rest assured, the children had a wonderful day. On Thursday, the staff were overwhelmed by ‘Work Book Day’ and all the incredible costumes. They selected from a range of stories to choose from and enjoyed listening to the stories whilst enjoying a Hot Chocolate in their pyjamas with their favourite teddy! On Wednesday, teachers swapped classes and read their favourite stories. All the children were dressed for the occasion and brilliantly behaved. On Monday, after school, up to 100 children came back to school for ‘Bedtime Stories’ with the staff. What a fantastic week! As always it’s been wonderful to see all the children enjoy a range of activities put on by our staff.
